Where Will It End? 1969 Topps Reggie Jackson RC Card EX-MINT

Reggie Jackson will go down as one of the greatest, and most clutch, hitters of all time. I heard he had abs of steel, too. Here's a great looking, affordably priced, Jackson Rookie card to add to the collection.

1980 Topps Rickey Henders Rookie Card NM-MT

This 1980 Topps Rickey Henderson Rookie card deserves better than an 8, in my opinion. Jeremy I. sent this with the Wax Czar Beckett Group Submission* so I was able to review it myself and, attached photo aside, the paper on this 40-year-old piece of cardboard was so white it was almost blinding. OK, not really, but the fact is aside from being nearly bleach-white, the corners appeared equally as sharp. The only possible issue we could agree on was the centering; even then, not bad.

So the card came back at a NM-MT 8 which is a respectable grade and definitely worth the cost of grading. But the current market favors Mint 9 condition: $300 and up while the NM-MT 8 condition sells for $50-60. Jeremy I. is going to sell this NM-MT 8 and invest the money in other Rookie cards of potential and current Hall of Fame players.

Where Will it End? 1963 Topps Willie Mays PSA 8

I've always liked the 1963 Topps design, and this card should really be a 9 but the centering is off. I still believe it will eclipse the $450 mark, however. What do you think?

Where Will it End? 1961 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 6

The 1961 baseball season featured the home run chase between Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris--which can explain the popularity of the baseball card set released by Topps that same year. 

I'm in the running for an auction for a PSA 6, which is EX-MT, Mickey Mantle card number 300. I'm hoping to nab it around $300 because although the grade is only a 6 the centering gives this particular card great eye appeal.

Topps Reveals All-Star Content for 2016 Triple Threads Baseball

Every year, the MLB All-Star Game offers a chance for fans to see baseball’s star on one field.

In 2015, the All-Star Festivities were highlighted by a crowd-cheering performance in the Home Run Derby by Todd Frazier, Mike Trout winning his second All-Star Game MVP in a row, and glimpses of some of the hottest young stars such as Kris Bryant and Joc Pederson. Topps immortalizes those moments on cards with images and relic pieces that came straight from the Festivities. In fact, Topps received multiple boxes filled with the All-Star jerseys of nearly every player that attended the workout day and Home Run Derby.

These black-and-red jerseys will be used throughout 2016 products, including Topps Triple Threads Baseball, which is scheduled to come out in September. Triple Threads Baseball utilizes the jerseys in different cards that have been become a cornerstone of many collections.
