Topps Reveals All-Star Content for 2016 Triple Threads Baseball

Every year, the MLB All-Star Game offers a chance for fans to see baseball’s star on one field.

In 2015, the All-Star Festivities were highlighted by a crowd-cheering performance in the Home Run Derby by Todd Frazier, Mike Trout winning his second All-Star Game MVP in a row, and glimpses of some of the hottest young stars such as Kris Bryant and Joc Pederson. Topps immortalizes those moments on cards with images and relic pieces that came straight from the Festivities. In fact, Topps received multiple boxes filled with the All-Star jerseys of nearly every player that attended the workout day and Home Run Derby.

These black-and-red jerseys will be used throughout 2016 products, including Topps Triple Threads Baseball, which is scheduled to come out in September. Triple Threads Baseball utilizes the jerseys in different cards that have been become a cornerstone of many collections. The types of cards that can be found in 2016 Topps Triple Threads Baseball that highlight that All-Star Game include:

Triple Threads All-Star Patches – All-Star player cards with three patch pieces from their MLB® All-Star Game® uniform on every card. Base version sequentially numbered to 9. Ruby Parallel – numbered to 1 
Triple Threads All-Star Jumbo All-Star Game Patches – All-Star players showcased on three-panel book cards. Each book will feature one player with three relics, which include jumbo swatches and one jumbo All-Star Game logo patch. Numbered to 1. 
Triple Threads All-Star Jumbo Sleeve Team Patches – All-Star players showcased on book cards. Each book will feature one player with three relics, which include two patches and one jumbo All-Star sleeve team patch. Numbered to 1. 
 Triple Threads All-Star Majestic Logo Patch – Each card will feature one player with three relics, which include two swatches and one All-Star Majestic Logo patch. Numbered to 1. 
Triple Threads All-Star Laundry Tag – All-Star players showcased on book cards. Each book will feature one player with three relics, which include two patches and one All-Star laundry tag. Numbered to 1.
